All materials for each grade level are now available in Compact Disc (CD) format. Each CD includes a full-color copy of the teacher's manual and student booklet pages for one grade level. The license that accompanies the CD allows for the reproduction of the materials for use within the purchasing school. The CD format procides full-color reproduction.

Make Me a Rainbow
Grade One - $89.00

Academic objectives focus on the understanding of color, shape, line, and patterns.

Student pages include reproductions of well-known artwork, color photographs, stories such as "Music For The King," and "Make Me a Rainbow," "scripture talk," and skill-building exercises. Assignments involve problem-solving, creative role-playing, drawing from the imagination, sensory enrichment and include such projects as building Noah's ark, constructing the animals and then creating an underwater scene (under a table).

Flowers & Bulrushes
Grade Two - $89.00

Academic objectives focus on the understanding and application of the elements of art.

Student pages include reproductions of well-known artwork, stories such as "Rosalind's New Shoes" and "Auntie's New Baby," character-building scripture teachings, skill-building exercises, quizzes, and art vocabulary. Assignments involve problem-solving, drawing from the imagination, "quick drawing," contour drawing, painting, printmaking, construction using various media, including dough and clay.

Grade Three - $89.00

Academic objectives focus on the understanding and application of the elements of art.

Student pages include reproductions of well-known artwork, stories such as "The Picnic" and "Mixed-Up Milton," character-building scripture teachings, skill-building exercises, quizzes, and art vocabulary. Assignments involve problem-solving, art appreciation, drawing from the imagination, "quick drawing," contour drawing, painting, cartooning, papier mache, weaving, chalk, and collage.

Assignments involve problem-solving, art appreciation, drawing from the imagination, contour drawing, painting life-sized full-length portraits, collage, tall tales, box sculpture, abstract oil pastels, and dough sculpture.

Where Eagles Soar
Grade Five - $89.00

Academic objectives focus on an introduction to the principles of design through an understanding of the application of the elements of art.

Student pages include reproductions of well-known artwork, stories such as "The Big Race," character-building scripture teachings, skill-building exercises, quizzes, and art vocabulary. This level also contains art history (Renaissance and Reformation) and more extensive art appreciation. Assignments involve problem-solving (creating inventions during study of Leonardo da Vinci), drawing on "the Sistine Chapel ceiling," (Michelangelo) printmaking (Durer), "upside-down" drawing, creating a diorama, low relief with clay. Scripture study focuses on the importance of giving glory to God in all we do. The Renaissance is exposed as a time in history when man glorified himself.
